Most people start thinking and philosophizing what could be done differently, they make plans about their "apology" letters etc. This is a dead end because of one thing. You'll never truly be able to know the real reasons. Women are mostly emotional and they themselves don't even know for sure why they feel like they do. Stop loosing your energy trying to figure them out. Instead, if you can't forget her, do what I'm about to describe.
The first main strategy is to forget about this relationship for some time, and give all your energy in becoming better in seduction and women in general. Set some realistic goals and get some education about this subject. Give yourself a month or two and Change! Even do things that you never thought you were able to do like dating multiple persons. Don't just try things, educate yourself or you'll get burned out.
The effect of this strategy will be that you will gradually change the way you perceive the whole subject of relationships and guess what, after some months, you'll probably feel differently about your all important ex. Even if you 're still infatuated, you'll be able to re-attract her and make her see you under a different light, because you will already be different. Try to re-initiate a relationship that is damaged is wrong and has little chance of success. Women forget easily and are more in the moment than us. If you are a different person, she will notice.
If you don't even have the energy to try the first strategy, you should then focus on getting her back directly, but at least "play" more strategically. Begging and asking her to re-think is plainly pathetic and is going to create more resistance by her part. So, there are a lot of guides out there but only a handful of them is applicable and realistic, because only few point out the most important aspect to succeed in getting back your ex girlfriend. And this is..... mindset. Yes! It's not a technique, but a mindset and ease with life that will raise you in her eyes.
Be careful not to fall into the trap of analysis - paralysis (a common one, meaning that you study things and not take action) and... may the force be with you.
